Disappointed with the quality but they work as intended.I buy these and keep them outside, my old ones corroded so I purchased these. They do work, but the batteries don’t fully fit in the casing. Since they don’t fully fit you can’t close the lid. The casing falls into the body of the candle when trying to insert the batteries. It’ll do for now but I need to be sure I don’t miss the return window next time. :-/I have ordered many other fake candles. Non with such a nice flicker to them. They look almost completely real at night and with the shades shut. The independent piece that flickers around really from a short distance looks like the light of a candle. It makes a nice silhouette on the wall and ceiling as well. The timer features are amazing as well. The first thing I did was put the batteries in, turn them on, and hit the time I want them to stay on. They remember to come on at the same time of night every night for the length of the programmed amount as well. I highly recommend them.I would not recommend these candles! I purchased them recently for outdoor lantern use. They were plastic (no wax) which is exactly what I was looking for, as I live in a hot climate. The candles were exactly what I wanted when they arrived, however, the casings where the two AA batteries go were not designed well. The batteries had to be forced in and once they were in, the covers that goes over them would not fit/snap down in place. All three candles were like this.They really set the mood , aroma, flickering lights bouncing off the ceiling, perfect for that "SPECIAL NIGHT ,WITH THAT SPECIAL PERSON "??These have got to be the best LED Flameless candles for the money. They have a very nice appearance with the flickering wick. I've bought 4 sets of these and have been very happy with them. Friends who have seem them think they're a great alternative to real candles and have also purchased them.The candles are cute but eats batteries extremely fast.I used these for a display on my front steps. Being able to set the timer was a big help. Also not have to bother with cords and plug ins at my age helped a lot. I would not have been able to use the display without them. Thank you.
