Everyone has her signature scent or fragrance for the home This has become mine. It must be the absinthe, because I am seriously addicted. Long before I knew the marketing label or even the ingredients, I came upon this fragrance when it was wafting through a boutique as the sample candle of the day. I was hooked immediately because the fragrance has an unusual quality - not sticky sweet, ( I would say the polar opposite of vanilla), not cosmetic, not readily identifiable, subtle, understated, disguised, on a lower register, quietly seductive, irresistible, unforgettable. My sense memory can conjure up this fragrance in a nano-second. I now order this candle two at a time so that I can always have one lit in the foyer and in the bedroom when I am at home.
